LETTER OF INTENT – Durand softball player Lauren Pletscher signed her National Letter of Intent Friday, Nov. 13, to play Division 1 softball at Oakland University. Durand Varsity Coach Tim Ducharme joined Pletscher for the signing, held at Sam’s Italian Restaurant in Swartz Creek.In addition to playing with her high school team, Pletscher honed her catching skills as a member of the Finesse Fastpitch 18U travel softball team that competes nationally.
The Oakland Grizzles finished the 2015 season with a 27-22 record and won the Horizon League with a 14-6 record.
