The Lennon Lions Homecoming will be July 18 and organizers are seeking parade entries. “Do you have legs or something with wheels? Can you walk, ride or do you have a float? Then we invite you to be a part of our parade! As ‘Lions’ our theme is ‘We Serve.’ However, we invite you to be creative and present an appropriate display.
“Some of the things we’re looking for: organizations, businesses, churches and individuals. Ideas include, but are not limited to, musical groups, 4–H, Scouts, military units and vehicles, clowns, decorated bicycles, floats, FFA, tractors and any other idea you come up with!
“Line up will be at 10 a.m. July 18 at the closed Doyle Knight School in Lennon. The parade begins at 11 a.m. and goes through Lennon, then ends at Lions Park. Call Mary or Doug at (989) 634-8263 for more information and reservations. After the parade join us at Lions Park for our many festivities. We hope to see you there!”
