The Knights of Columbus of Owosso will host trivia night on Saturday, Jan. 13, with the proceeds to benefit Respite of Shiawassee County, Catholic Charities and an African rescue mission that is being spearheaded by St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Owosso, St. Joseph Catholic Church of Owosso and the Knights of Columbus. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus hall in Owosso, located at 1259 E. M-21, which is at the intersection with N. Hintz Road.
Tables of up to eight people will compete with other groups to answer trivia questions in various categories. In all, there will be a total of 100 questions covering 10 areas of trivial knowledge. Doors open at 6 p.m., with trivia beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $12 per contestant, which includes two bonus sheets and three “free answers.” Soda and coffee will be provided at no charge, and there will be beer and wine available for purchase. Organizers do ask guests to bring any additional snacks they may require.
