THE LATE INDEPENDENT NEWSGROUP EDITOR, Bill Constine, was recently honored by Rep. John Moolenaar with a congressional record, on behalf of the Fourth Congressional District of Michigan, during the extension of remarks on Monday, Feb. 29 at the Michigan House of Representatives. A copy of the record was recently sent to the Independent and Moolenaar stopped by on Friday, March 11 to present the record to Constine’s family in honor of his lifetime work as an editor and community leader.

The Congressional Record had this to say, “As a leader, Bill challenged his employees, to go out of their comfort zone, but never allowed them to fail.
