Having served on several boards, I know for someone seeking to be treasurer, integrity and objectivity are essential. The Woodhull Township race presents a sharp contrast, with Jim Cribbs steadfastly fulfilling his duties as treasurer in the face of contempt and scorn from his opponent Pam Slee.
In public meetings I’ve witnessed Ms. Slee withhold the township attorney’s legal opinion from her fellow board members, struggle to understand sources and amounts of township revenue, and propose arbitrary funding to favor one group of constituents over others. The choice is clear if you value integrity and objectivity in your
‘bean counter.’
