Everyone attending the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Family Supper at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Corunna was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the buttermilk pancakes and delicious link sausage. Diners were entertained by Jan Amsterburg with vocal and guitar offerings.

Carol Amsterburg manned a craft table to occupy the younger children.

This was truly a “night out” before entering the penitential season of Lent. All of the effort put forth to bring this “Fat Tuesday” tradition back was appreciated and it is the intention of the church to make this an annual event.

Next year’s Shrove Tuesday event promises to be bigger and better. Don’t miss it!
