Pastor Ron Heiler – Thanksgiving Community Dinner Coordinator

12:35 pm

Editor, The Independent:
To all who made it possible, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your generous donations and volunteering towards the Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, which was provided at the Shiawassee Council on Aging Center in downtown Owosso.
Thanks to you we were able to serve over 600 meals to Shiawassee County residents on Thanksgiving Day. We partnered with over 200 volunteers and businesses to provide this meal. We couldn’t have done it without your help! Thank you cannot be said enough.
It’s a wonderful thing to see so many come together to make our community a better place. The fact that those who volunteered had a smile on their face showed me they were glad for the opportunity to give back to their community. Those who came to partake of this meal enjoyed themselves and were appreciative. This shows me that we met a need. I hope you feel the same way I do and will continue to support this cause.
As for the monies left over, we will donate them right back into the community to be used for other causes to help those in need.
All blessings come from the Father above and are filtered down through human hearts and served through human hands. May you be blessed this holiday season.
For a better & stronger community,

Pastor Ron Heiler
Thanksgiving Community Dinner Coordinator
Northgate Wesleyan Church, Owosso.
