Independent Editor,

Morrice Buck Pole helps the local community.

Due to COVID, our annual pole was canceled, but thanks to our generous sponsors, we were able to raise nearly $5,000. We gave $2,500 to the Perry Food Bank, $1,500 to the VFW toy drive, $300 to Shiawassee County Hospice House and $200 to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

This could not have happened without the help of the following sponsors: Brent’s Pizza, Eagle Cove RV Park, Café Sports, Carl’s Supermarket, Central Pharmacy, Corbat Farms, Darling Hardware, Blight Oil, Elsesser’s Auto Repair, HWP Directional Drilling, Fowlerville Feed, Fowlerville Pork Producers, Huffy Marathon, Hungry Howie’s, Downtown Diner, Joe’s Body Shop, Johnny V’s, M&S Tire, Meal and More, Mika Orthodontics, Morrice Barber Shop, Pond Hill Sales, Michigan Iron, Young’s Turf Farm, Hull’s Farm, Vangilder Farm, Vangilder Drainage, B Rays Electric, Classic Auto, Overhead Door, KJ Repair, Corunna Mills, Reliable Transportation, Wendi’s Housecleaning Service, John and Pat Stiff, John and Rita Luks, Atomic Apparel and Designs, Roger Knowland Printing, Morrice Hardware, Morrice Insurance Agency, Mugg & Bopps, RC Fleet, Perry Automotive, Perry Dental, Perry UMC, Elite Covering, Ridenour’s Repair, Road Trip Oasis, 7-11, K&B Heating, Spartan Fence, Spalding Insurance, Total Resale, Your Barber Shop and Perry Physical Therapy.

The winners of our gun raffle were Mitch Rollins (1st-place), Russ Locke (2nd-place) and Rose Decator (3rd-place).

Thanks so much. Hope to see you all next year.
