It is with great appreciation that we write to members of Owosso and surrounding communities for the outpouring of support for the Hartmann Aue for Mr. Owosso 2019 campaign. We were able to raise $20,111.72, of which $17,094.94 went directly to The Arc of Mid-Michigan in support of their advocacy and support programs to children, teens and adults throughout Shiawassee County who have cognitive, neurological and physical disabilities. The remaining $3,016.78 was donated to the Curwood Festival Committee to assist in the overall cost of providing this annual festival in Owosso.
We would not have been able to exceed our goal of $20,000 without the generous support of our t-shirt sponsors, terrific business in-kind sponsors and the following events: Knights of Columbus Mr. Owosso Kick-Off; Sunnyside Florist for flowers on the tables at Kick-Off; Elks Lodge for hosting “Friends” Trivia; Jimmy Johns for donating food for trivia; Speedy Print for the “Dinner for 2” restaurant raffle tickets; Chris Bird and the Owosso Middle School for the events that they hosted; Corunna High School Food Services for lunches; Roma’s Back Door 10 percent of sales day, and hosing “Party on the Patio”; HK Allen for providing paper products for our “Party on the Patio”; Jennie Haber and Jeff Deason for the live entertainment on the patio; Ellen Blohm for donating the food for the “Party on the Patio”; The Arc of Mid-Michigan Bingo and the Shiawassee Conservation Association; the Wrought Iron Grill for Burger and Brews; Purple Tree Crafts for “Strokes N Sips”; Subway of Owosso for the percentage of sales day; Nancy Diebler for donating 60 new flamingos; and the Mr. Owosso Finale. The list of attendees and volunteers is too lengthy to include, but we appreciated having each and every one of you there.
We do want to express a special thank you to the family and friends of Hartmann, his campaign manager Jessi Anderson, and The Arc of Mid-Michigan staff and board. Our efforts could not have been promoted without the amazing support that we received from all of them. Our t-shirt and general donation sponsors included:

• Gold Sponsors ($500): Law Office of Patrick Marutiak; Young Chevrolet-Cadillac-Buick-GMC; Brandon Lepior, L-5 Transportation; Mike Ardelean, CLH Insurance Agency, Denny and Renee Craig, Transitions in Translation; Anonymous

Even though Hartmann did not win this year, we are proud of the positive campaign that we had and our ability to include youth and families in some of the events. Thank you, again, for such a supportive community that enabled us to raise $20,111.72.
Hartmann Aue, campaign chair Jessi Anderson and the staff and board of The Arc of Mid-Michigan
