Doris K. Wood and many friends, Owosso

10:34 am

Editor, The Independent:

We would like to express our thanks and give thanks and praise to the volunteers who are giving their time, expert advice and organizing, initiating and following through with the humane efforts of spaying, neutering vaccines for the cat over-population of Owosso and adjacent areas. Community cats of Owosso.

It is a win-win solution that has proved to be effective in many cities throughout the USA.

The needed leadership and follow-through steps by Betsey Goodwin, Lori Bailey and committee volunteers has led us in the right direction to address the humanitarian need that has been null and void in our city for long years, resulting in our present overpopulation.

All volunteers give their time, energy, money, gas and transportation to make this work. None receive any monetary pay for this venture for their personal use. We all say a big “Thank You” to these dedicated volunteers for their constant hard work.
