Independent Editor,

Thank you to all of the fantastic business owners, volunteers, school groups and donors that contributed to the outstanding success of the 2021 Autumn Spirit.

Businesses that donated scarecrows include: Amy’s Diner, Central Pharmacy, Just Darling Art, Floral Gallery, CDL’s Bentley Memorial Library, Lori Loves Pets, Mika Orthodontics, Mugg & Bopps, Perry Dental and Total Resale.

Organizations that contributed a scarecrow include: the Perry AMVETS 4064 Auxiliary, the Perry Historical Society, the Perry High School (PHS) National Art Honors Society and the PHS FFA.

Many thanks also go to residents: Lisa Krell, Rachel Frasier and Laura Conway (GLCC Lansing District), Nina Vincent and Anna Vincent.

Sincere thanks for all the clothing and supplies that were donated by several to use for creating all the scarecrows including: Mayor Sue Hammond and family, council member Mindy Galbavi and Tom Galbavi, council member Larry Lambert and Darling Hardware.

Gratitude is also extended to the Perry Department of Public Works who went above and beyond to put up all the scarecrows and take them down after the event.

And, thanks for all the positive messages, comments, posts and phone calls from those who appreciated all the work and effort that went into the project.
