I’m a proud member of the Bancroft community. This summer, others, myself included, worked hard to diligently create a community garden for the people of Bancroft to harvest. This has been very successful because of the contributions and efforts of many area people and businesses.
I would like to thank the following; Bancroft council members that voted to let us use the piece of property in town, Bancroft Lions/Lioness Club, Coffield Oil, Windmill Point/Blight Oil, Van Agen and Fat Bird Seed, Modern Woodmen Insurance (trees), Flora Nichols (flower pots), Raether Topsoil of Livingston County (dirt), Brian Stiles (pumpkins), Brian and Sara (corn stalks), volunteers, Boy Scout Troop #85, Cub Scout Pack #240, T&T Construction, kids of Bancroft (watering), and a special shout-out to Jayden Tertening (15-year-old) for the benches and hard work.
