Corunna Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual City of Corunna Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 26 at 11:30 a.m. at McCurdy Park for ages 0 through 6th grade. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be 8 to 11 a.m. inside the Community Center at McCurdy Park.

 

The Easter Bunny is Coming

Residents are reminded that the Easter Bunny is coming to Perry during the annual Easter Egg Hunt and EGGstravaganza Saturday, March 26, at Perry City Hall, 203 W. Polly St.

The Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Perry Baptist Church Youth Group, will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with many prizes, including two bicycles. The Egg Hunt is open to toddlers (able to walk by themselves) through fifth grade. Participants should bring their own container to collect eggs.

Brian Harmon will also be present as keynote speaker with a special message for youth. The fun doesn’t stop there – the Easter EGGstravaganza will feature free games and activities for the kids as well as the Perry Area Lions Club hot dog concessions. The games will begin after kids collect their prizes for the egg hunt.

Special thanks is extended to PNC Bank of Perry and Chemical Bank of Morrice for their support in providing prizes. Parents, don’t forget to bring your camera to catch that magical moment when the Easter Bunny hops in for a visit.

 

Durand Easter Egg Hunt

Shaw’s Pharmacy, the Durand Fire Department and SAGElink Credit Union are sponsoring an Easter egg hunt that will begin on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. at Trumble Park in Durand. The event will be free and is open to children up to 12 years old. The hunts will be split up into age groups, children two years old and younger will begin at 10:15 a.m., three to five-year-olds at 10:20 a.m., six to eight-year-olds at 10:25 a.m., and nine to 12-year-olds at 10:30 a.m.

Organizers say the Easter Bunny will be in attendance, there will be multiple prizes up for grabs, and the fire department will bring a fire truck for up close viewing. Participants are asked to bring their own Easter basket.

Coffee, doughnuts and hot chocolate will be available for a small donation.

 

Durand Church Easter Egg Extravaganza

The Durand Church of God, 10411 E. Newburg Rd., in Durand will be hosting an Easter Egg Extravaganza on Sunday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome. Rain or shine. 10,000 Easter eggs will be available. For more information, interested persons may call (989) 319-4740.

 

Ovid Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt

The United Church of Ovid will be having its Easter celebration, for kids of all ages, on Saturday, March 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Starting at the VFW Lions Hall on Main St., in Ovid, and then finishing up at the United Church of Ovid, 131 W. Front St., in Ovid with an Easter Egg huntand lunch.

This will be a fun- filled inspirational celebration with a variety of activities for kids including face painting, craft stations, games, Bible story time, an egg hunt, and lunch. Church Easter Presentation and Supper

The Durand 1st United Methodist Church located at 10016 E. Newburg Rd., in Durand will be presenting a live presentation of DaVinci’s “The Last Supper’’ on Maundy Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m. The evening will begin with a Free Soup Supper with beverage and cornbread at 6 p.m. If anyone would like to make a donation, the proceeds will go to our local Food Pantry, “Loaves and Fishes.” Donations will also be accepted following the Last Supper Presentation for “Water for Flint.” This will be a wonderful evening of the Disciple’s thoughts, Music, and Communion to prepare us for the Easter Weekend.
