   Durand Union Station is continuing with its popular tree decorating effort, so start your holiday season off with a visit to Durand to view these special trees. Tree decorating started on Tuesday, Nov. 1 and each tree is decorated by a local business, group or family, making certain every single tree is festive and unique. Admission to view the trees is free. The trees will be on display through Dec. 30. A late night tree viewing is planned for Saturday, Dec. 17 until 7 p.m. Durand Union Station will be open Christmas Day from 3 to 7 p.m.

   Santa will be visiting Durand Union Station on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. The event is open to the public. Parents with infants/preschoolers are encouraged to visit Santa at the Depot from 1 to 3 p.m. 

   Other events include Sip and Support for adults from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3. Advanced tickets required. A holiday open house is planned Saturday, Dec. 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. with music, Santa and his friends. Admission is free. 

   On Thursday, Dec. 22, the Mid-Michigan Chamber Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
