From Dori Boertman, City of Perry

PerryFest 2015 is getting closer and the committee is working diligently to make it the best festival ever.

Donations are currently being accepted for the annual Silent Auction. Take a look around – have you received a gift that just wasn’t you – purchased something you decided you really didn’t need – have leftovers (no clothing please) from a recent yard sale?

If it’s clean and in quality condition, the PerryFest committee would “love to have it” for this year’s Silent Auction to help raise funds for the festival and fireworks.

Monetary donations are also sought to help pay for the annual fireworks display Saturday, Sept. 19.

The PerryFest committee is an all-volunteer group of area residents working together to provide a weekend of family entertainment for the entire community to enjoy.

The festivities are funded strictly from donations and contributions from area business and residents.

This year’s PerryFest at the Perry City Hall festival grounds, 203 W. Polly Street. For more information, persons may call, (517) 625-6155, ext. 235 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Monday through Friday; or e-mail events@perry.mi.us.
