GENEROUS DONATION – The Durand Area Schools Backpack Program received nearly $9,000 in donations during the Monday, Oct. 12, Durand Board of Education meeting.
Durand VFW Post 2272 presented a check for $4,169.26 from their Sept. 13 golf outing. The Durand Rotary Club and the Durand Lions Club presented a check for $3,186.80 from the
July 25 Chicken BBQ that was held at the Durand Eagles and Graff’s Chip Watt presented a $1,500 check from his company.
