WOW is an overnight shelter for homeless men, women, and children in Shiawassee County. Local churches serve as host sites on a rotating basis. The donation drive will run until Saturday,

Feb. 25 with drop off boxes located at Brooks Innovative Graphics, American Legion Post #57, and the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Some of the items they are seeking as donations include coffee, creamer (in canisters), sugar (in canisters), coffee filters, powdered drink mix, hot cocoa, sturdy dinner plates, small paper dessert plates, soup bowls, plastic forks, plastic knives, 12 oz. coffee cups, 6 oz. plastic cups, Ziploc style quart size bags, large black trash bags, disinfectant wipes, snacks, granola bars, candy, and gift cards. All of these items are used on a daily basis at the shelter.
