CAROL PAVLICA was awarded the annual “Anna Pavlica Customer Service Award” during the annual Christmas Breakfast held in December for Community District Library (CDL) staff members.
The Customer Service Award was created in memory of Pavlica’s mother, Anna, who passed away unexpectedly in 2012. She was a 32-year employee of the local library, which later became a member of the CDL.
Pavlica was selected for this year’s award due to her readiness to assist the Bentley Memorial Library in Perry as she continued to provide excellent “Customer Service” as the branch library struggled through a difficult and unexpected situation earlier in the year.
Upon explaining her feelings about receiving the award, Carol, was still at a loss for words, saying, “Surprised, really surprised.”
Pavlica, who has been with the library since 2012, was appointed manager of the Perry Branch early in 2016. She is also known for her past contributions as a volunteer at the Morrice branch library. (Courtesy Photo)
