The Durand Eagles are hosting a Country Western Hoedown on Saturday, Sept. 16. The event is open to the public and begins with a rib dinner with all the fixins from 4 until 8 p.m. The Junk Yard Revival Band will be entertaining the crowd with music from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be a silent auction, and everyone who pays the $5 admission will be included in the drawing for the door prize. There will be many raffles and cornhole games, so organizers suggest persons “come dressed for the occasion!” The Durand Eagles Club is located at 5240 New Lothrop Rd. in Durand.
