MARK A. COSCARELLI has recently put in his bid for District 7 Shiawassee County Commissioner position. Coscarelli serves as the vice president at Public Sector Consultants helping the firm manage their Environment and Energy division by analyzing natural resource and environmental issues, and providing strategic counsel and research services to clients at the local, state, and national levels.

Coscarelli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Natural Resource studies and a Master of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. He is a 16-year resident of Shiawassee County and has served 15 years on the Woodhull Township Planning Commission.

In running for the District 7 Commissioner seat, Coscarelli wants to enhance transparency and accountability in county government, increase tax base through recruitment and retention of local businesses and development of the I-69 corridor, create better support structures for veterans and help develop a vision for leadership and good governance.
