SUMMER – Community District Library announces “Summer Badge Blast!” their exciting summer program for kids, tweens and teens. The quest for badges begins June 15 and goes through July 27. Participants can sign up online at www.mycdl.org, or visit any of CDL’s seven library branches.

There are 10 fun badges that can be earned by completing three out of five suggested quests. Claim badges online through the library website, or visit any of the branches to collect a physical badge. “Brag by commenting online when you complete a quest so you can see your name on the leader board! Don’t forget to tag our giant quest tracker when you claim a badge at one of our branches,” says CDL Director Jami Cromley. Those participants who accumulate all 10 badges will receive a special surprise gift.

CDL has branches in Bancroft, Byron (inside the High School Library), Corunna, Lennon, Morrice, New Lothrop (inside the Elementary School Library) and Perry.

Persons can visit www.mycdl.org and look for the SBB mascot Sunny and then download an event brochure and quest tracker. Numerous free programs are scheduled during the six-week event. Programs include animals, magic, science, music, art and much more!
