The Shiawassee County Board of Commissioners introduced the county’s new interim financial administrator, Patricia Fitnich, who has taken over the position left vacant following the departure of Cheryl Grice in January. Fitnich started Monday, Feb. 8.
Fitnich is an Owosso High School graduate, and more impressively, a graduate of William and Mary, where she obtained a Master of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration. She served previously as the Deputy Finance Director for the city of Portage.
