The 54th annual Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic will be Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Owosso Country Club. The event is one week earlier due to the Labor Day holiday. This year’s Chamber Classic is presented by Comlink and TVC/Lennon Telephone.
Registration and the driving range will open at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. “The day will include lunch, 18 holes of golf and great networking opportunities,” said SRCC Vice President Sue Kadlek of the chamber. “The Golf Classic will conclude with player awards and a pig roast, complete with grilled veggies and chicken, salads and dessert. Thousands of dollars of prizes will be given away thanks to SRCC member businesses.
“This is one of the most fun and exciting networking events we hold each year. Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy this relaxed outing, in scramble format, on the beautiful Owosso Country Club course. Our sponsors and players are all sure to have a great time.”
