The popular monthly member networking breakfast event, Chamber A-M, is set for Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the Comstock Inn & Conference Center in downtown Owosso. Since 2005, the event was held at the Owosso-area Big Boy Restaurant.

“The Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce would like to formally thank Pat Murphy and the staff at the Big Boy Restaurant for being terrific hosts of Chamber A-M for over a decade. The decision to relocate was based solely on our goal of changing up the format to re-energize and offer something new to our networking businesses. Chamber A-M is an exceptionally lively monthly exchange of business and community information for members and non-members,” said SRCC President/CEO Jeff Deason. “The meeting combines tremendous marketing opportunities with relevant information in a short, upbeat presentation.”

During the Chamber A-M meeting, the fast-paced agenda includes updates on community and chamber events, chamber member profiles, recognition of member accomplishments, door prizes and a dedicated networking time for exchange of business cards.

“The format of the meeting allows for a lot of information to be disseminated in a short time,” Deason said. “And the structure of the networking opportunity creates an inviting way for anyone to market their business easily.”

Scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month, Chamber A-M attendees enjoy the hearty breakfast buffet at the Comstock starting at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $10 for members; $15 for non-members.
