THE CITY OF Durand’s first responders, with help from the Easter Bunny, brought a little Easter magic to families in Durand on Saturday, April 11 by holding an Easter parade. Families lined the streets of the city — observing social distancing guidelines, of course, by staying in their own yards — to wave and cheer as the Easter Bunny passed by. While some Michiganders were busy grousing about the governor’s “overly restrictive” executive order extension that was announced Thursday, April 9, the people of Durand, for one afternoon at least, were given a reason to smile.
