DINAH SONGER, of Ohio, was visiting her grandmother, Marilyn VanTassell, in celebration of the New Year, and was thrilled with all of the exciting events happening in downtown Owosso on Sunday, Dec. 31. Dinah is shown, bundled warmly in layers of winter clothing, cuddling her balloon penguin, and leaning against her grandmother. The two had taken shelter inside The Bagelman on S. Washington Street for a brief warm-up.
