The nearly 250 guests helped the Respite Volunteers of Shiawassee raise more than $14,500 after expenses. The next Respite volunteer workshop will be on Thursday, April 26 at the Perry Church of the Nazarene, 3100 Ellsworth Rd. in Perry. Also, the group’s 25-year anniversary will be celebrated at D’Mar on Thursday, Nov. 8.
