The Bancroft Branch of the Community District Library will hold a Candy Bingo event 5 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18. Participants will receive sweet treats when they Bingo! For more information or to reserve a spot, persons may phone (989) 634-5689. The branch is inside the Shiawassee Township Hall, 625 Grand River Road. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
