On Oct. 4, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., SageLink Credit Union and the Shiawassee County Friends of the Fair will team up to host a Bubble Ball Soccer Tournament at the third annual Fall Family Festival on the Fairgrounds, 2900 E. Hibbard Road, south of Corunna.
Bubble Ball teams play soccer while wearing large inflatable bubbles. This allows the players to crash and bounce into each other, without injury, creating exciting and fun to watch action. SageLink Credit Union owns the bubble balls and is donating their use for this charitable event, said Dawn Reha of the Fair’s Friends. Proceeds from the Fall Family Festival and the Bubble Ball Soccer Tournament will benefit the Shiawassee County Friends of the Fair, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to the ongoing support of agricultural education and the Shiawassee County Fair.
