The Shiawassee Arts Center will be offering Botanical Art for the Holidays for five weeks with Barb Holmer, artist/instructor, 2 to 5 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 15 through Nov. 12. Fruits, nuts and greens are symbolic of holiday celebrations.
Drawing from life or using your own photo references, create realistic drawings of holiday plants with colored pencils. Bring supplies and a selection of subjects or photos to the first class. Photos should be clear, in focus and should be your own! See supply list. The cost is $85 for a SAC member or $95 for a non-member. An individual SAC membership is $30 annually and a senior level is $25. Pre-registration and payment is required at least one week prior to the class.
