SKYLER AND CARSON, members of the Vernon Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God, recently came up with the concept of making blankets for those in need. The idea was inspired by a church series on “How to Train Your Attitude,” which included teaching the topic of demonstrating gratitude. The boys, along with teachers Reva Durr and Stephi Nettelton, helped initiate the “Blanket Brigade” that included others in the blanket making process.
Other children involved were Hunter, Cameron, Aubrey, Lena, Skyla, Yoda, Autumn, Joseph and Savannah.
