BIRCH & ELM OWNERS Shannon and Joe Howansky celebrated the opening of their business Saturday, April 30 with a ribbon cutting and grand opening. The store is selling urban women’s clothing and accessories, along with home décor items. The clothing is from the L.A. Fashion District, and the store offers clothing for ladies of all ages and sizes.
The Howanskys are glad to be bringing retail back to the Owosso area, and building owner Mike Erfourth expects the former lamp/furniture store to be a great location for the business. The building had been vacant for a while, and Erfourth used many local companies to remodel the building in preparation for the new tenants, including Jason Roka Construction Elements, Agnew Graphics Signs & Promotions, Mr. Sandless Floor Refinishing, Maurer Heating and Cooling, and Ludington Electric.
