The Corunna Branch of the Community District Library will host a beekeeping seminar with the Thornapple Woodland Beekeeping experts on Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m.
Participants will learn about types of bees and their stages of life, their hives and their food supply. There will be information about how honey is harvested, its nutritious and medicinal qualities and the uses of beeswax. Those attending will be able to examine live bees in an observation hive, taste honey and craft a rolled beeswax candle.
