The Shiawassee Arts Center will be offering another Basic Italic Calligraphy Class with Barb Holmer, Artist/Instructor. This workshop will be on Friday, Dec. 2 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Calligraphy adds a special touch to every correspondence. This workshop will begin with a demonstration of basic calligraphy techniques and then students will have a chance to try their hand at writing a message in calligraphy with a broad nib marker or pen. All materials are provided.
The cost is $30 for a SAC member or $35 for a non-member. A material fee of $5 is payable at registration. Pre-registration and payment is required by calling the Arts Center at (989) 723-8354. The Arts Center is located at 206 Curwood Castle Dr. in Owosso.
