Shiawassee County Whitetails Unlimited held their annual banquet Saturday, March 26 at the ZCBJ hall in Owosso. A total of 240 sportsmen attended the fundraising banquet which included both silent and live auctions, raffles, and games.
Nearly $3000 in checks were handed out at this year’s banquet to Shiawassee Conservation Association, Chesaning Conservation Club, and Thorny Acres Bow Club, as shown here, by the President of the Shiawassee County Whitetails Unlimited group Doug Allie. The money was earmarked toward buying equipment for youth archery programs taught at the clubs. Shiawassee County Whitetails Unlimited provides funds to help with local hunter safety programs.
