WATERCOLORIST REGINA Moskal was at J’s Tux & Bridal with an assortment of her boldly colored landscape and floral paintings during ArtWalk Owosso Friday evening. Regina, an Owosso artist, also works with acrylics and ink. “I once considered myself just a watercolorist,” Regina stated, “Then one day I thought, why not mix it up?”

The 2015 Owosso ArtWalk was organized by Owosso Mainstreet/DDA and Shiawassee County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Over 40 artists and musicians were invited to participate in the annual downtown event on Friday, Sept. 11.

Additional ArtWalk highlights included the new ArtBike exhibit, the Owosso Wall of History at Curwood Castle Park, a Homemade Chicken Van Gogh dinner at First Congregational Church and a live demonstration by Flushing Botanical Artist Barbara Holmer at the Shiawassee Arts Center (SAC).

Artist Phil DePeal was awarded 1st place for his abstract ArtBike entry.
