LINDA RITZ, of Clare, was showing her unique skill-set of turning fibers into spun yarn, during the home tour on Saturday, Sept. 16. Ritz is an expert in the fields of spinning and weaving, with over 20 years of experience in offering demonstrations about her crafts. She utilizes sheep’s wool, angora, mohair, musk ox, and more in her creations. Ritz also teaches classes in spinning, weaving, lucet, needle tatting, embroidery, and knitting, along with yarn dyeing techniques, and even historical uses for herbal remedies.
