The Corunna Parks and Recreation Commission is once again sponsoring a free Halloween Party for area children, 0-11 years of age, in the McCurdy Park Community Center.
The event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Trunk or Treat will start at 5 p.m. in the Community Center parking lot.
The annual event is in need of donations to continue to offer this party free of charge. Organizers are asking for a donation of candy, small toys, pencils, stickers or any prizes that persons think children would enjoy. Any donation would be gladly accepted including financial donations.
“Please mail or drop off your contributions to Corunna City Hall, 402 N. Shiawassee, Corunna, MI 48817,” it was stated. “If you are giving a check, please make it out to ‘City of Corunna’ and put ‘Halloween Donation’ in the memo. You can call Carol Spaniola, (989) 743-3296, for more information.”
