ALEXIS LANDIS, a 13-year-old Owosso Middle School student, is shown carefully painting a rock during the Angel’s Hands Outreach event at Owosso’s Bentley Park on Saturday, Oct. 21. Her mother, Tara Fry, was nearby selling Thirty-One products at one of several tables operated by area vendors. Crooked Tree Nursery had donated the rocks to the group.
Angel’s Hands Outreach, under the guidance of Christial Sierra, held a similar event in September. One goal of the group is to coordinate local nonprofit organizations so services are easier to obtain by people in need. Bentley Park, on the corner of M-52 and Stewart Street, has proven to be a prime location for Angel’s Hands Outreach since hundreds of people continue to attend.
