DURAND FIRE Captain Nick Spaniola took a break during the Easter egg hunt in Durand Sunday morning, April 16 to give the Easter Bunny some love. The 3rd annual Easter egg hunt was sponsored by Bart Harris’ State Farm Insurance, SAGElink Credit Union, Shaw’s Pharmacy, and the Durand Fire Department. The plastic Easter eggs were mostly empty, with only select eggs containing tokens that could be exchanged for special prizes. Children up to 12 years old were allowed to participate in the hunt, and every child received a gift bag.
