A Car Show will be held at McCurdy Park on Monday, July 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. just off M-71 in Corunna. Free live entertainment tent events include: craft show, cake walk, duck race, climbing wall, watermelon eating/seed spitting contest, bingo, horseshoes, Juggler/Tim Salisbury, petting zoo, belt sander races, antique tractor show, inflatables, K-9 classic trick dog show as well as the historic village will be open from noon to 5 p.m.

A pancake breakfast will be held from 7 to 10:30 a.m. at the Community Center building with a cost of $6 per person. A children’s bike decorating contest and parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. through the parade at 11 a.m. Euchre contests will also be held at 1 p.m. Concessions will be available as well as a 5K Run. A free model car contest will be sponsored by Dean’s Hobby Stop & Shiawassee Area Mopar Club with an award for those 15 and under as well as another for those 16 and older. For more information, interested persons may call Dennis at (517) 625-7690.
