THE HOMELESS ANGELS was among the many community service organizations that offered services during the 2019 Project Connect on Tuesday, Aug. 27, including Tracie Baise, the director of the Homeless Angels’ Lansing campus, and Paul Miller, the director of the Homeless Angels’ street ministry. Homeless Angels, located at 218 N. Park St. in Owosso, operates the Little Angels Diaper Bank and offers emergency shelter, personal needs and community outreach services.

   Also offering services was American Legion Post 502, Blue Cross of Michigan, Capital Area Community Services, Catholic Charities, Clinton County RESA, Disability Network – Capital Area, GST Michigan Works!, Genesee County Youth Corp, Great Lakes Bay Health Centers of Shiawassee County, Great Lakes Pace, Great Start Shiawassee, Greater Lansing Food Bank, Laingsburg Clothesline, Legal Services of Eastern Michigan and South Central Michigan, and Memorial Healthcare.

   Also offering products and/or services was the MSU Extension office, New Directions, OLHSA, the Owosso Lions Club, Pregnancy Resource Center, Recovery Pathways, Redeemer Lutheran Church & Thrivent, SafeCenter, the Salvation Army Owosso Citadel, Shiawassee Health & Wellness, the Shiawassee Hunger Network, the Shiawassee Council on Aging, Shiawassee County DHHS, the Shiawassee County Health Department, Shiawassee Family YMCA, The Crossing Free Methodist Church, the VA offices of Shiawassee and Saginaw counties, the Owosso First Church of the Nazarene and a number of manicurists and hair stylists.
