TOM CHAPUT was formally recognized Thursday, Oct. 6, by Mayor James Huguelet (left) and the Perry City Council as the 2016 PerryFest Grand Marshal.
Chaput is the owner of Great Lakes Gourmet, president of the Capitol Area Professional Chef’s & Cooks Association; and member of the MSU Chocolate Party Fundraiser.
He has served as a Perry City Council member since 2001 and is currently the senior council member. Chaput has been appointed Mayor Pro-tem during the majority of his tenure. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Community District Library.
